Exploring Art

An event every month that begins at 10:00 AM on day Second of the month, repeating until Monday, February 12, 2018

Registration Fee: $5 per person, unless stated otherwise. Individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and support providers/family members are encouraged to attend together.
Instructor: Molly Linn-Miller, MS, ATR
Note: Please wear old clothing to the workshop that you don’t mind getting messy (paint, glue, etc.)!
Each month, participants will explore a new medium (paint, collage, sculpture, etc.) and create individual art pieces to take home. Sign up for one, several, or all the classes!
Design ideas/samples will be offered to create themed artwork but students will be encouraged to create their own unique art designs.
About the instructor:
Molly is a registered art therapist. She received her bachelor’s degree from UW-Madison in Communicative Disorders and her master’s degree in Art Therapy from Mount Mary College.
Molly has worked with children, adults, and seniors with a variety of disabilities, including cancer survivors and children with behavioral health issues. She currently facilitates Exploring Art workshops for a variety of organizations and works one on one as an art mentor. Molly’s favorite art medium is collage and she enjoys using maps and natural materials in her artwork.
